I'm a lot owner and I want to start building.....

As a lot owner you are also part of The Enclave Residential Association.  Construction of a new home within the community requires approval from the Architectural Control Committee ("ACC").  Please see the Residential Association section for more information on how to start this process.  Please note that clearing of brush and other "clean up" activities can be started.  However, NO tree removal, dirt dumping, ground leveling, etc. is permitted without ACC approval.  Please note that the Town of Prosper also requires building permits.

Can I start dumping dirt on my lot?

Dumping of dirt on lots is NOT permitted without ACC approval.  With the subdivision nearing 75% buildout, dirt left on empty lots for long periods of time results in excessive dust problems for neighbors.

Do I need approval for my work projects?

Generally, the only projects that need approval by the community are for those things that are seen or visible by other community members and could impact them.  Examples include new home construction, landscaping projects, large tree plantings/removals, painting (color changes), additions to house, fences, structures and buildings.  If in doubt you should contact the Architecture Control Commitee.

Who makes up the "rules" for the community?

The lot owners as members of the Residential Association participate in this process.  Each lot owner signed an agreement at closing to be bound by the Residential Association Bylaws and Community Covenants and Restrictions.  The Residential Association elects officers who then help to interpret, enforce and if needed modify the "rules".

How do I report a concern or suggest an item?

The Board of Directors welcomes your input.  Please fill out our contact card here.
